Much like when I found myself falling off the exercise ball backwards in slow motion, the thought that went through my head was, ‘This can’t happen to me, I’m pregnant!’ Unlike the exercise ball incident, I also was also thinking, ‘there’s no way this can be my fault.’<\/p>\n
The guy was very apologetic and gave me his info. I was mostly in shock, and scared, because at the moment I got hit I started feeling pain in my stomach. I called the midwives as soon as I got to a parking lot and they had me come in to check the heartbeat.<\/p>\n
I was getting impatient for my next appointment to hear proof again that the baby is okay, but this isn’t how I intended to do it.<\/p>\n
I’m supposed to relax tonight, and watch for any signs of a problem (bleeding, worse cramping) but everything should be fine.<\/p>\n
In not exactly related news, I just can’t believe how good Arby’s tastes to me now. Roast beef, curly fries, and my daily allotment of caffeinated drink. (Iced tea today.) I feel a little lost when I go in because I don’t really eat fast food, and I have to stare at the menu trying to figure out how to get the most amount of meat (since I’m going to throw out the buns) without looking like a glutton.<\/p>\n
Maybe when I’m really pregnant I can just point at my stomach and say, “Give me meat.” But by then, I’ll probably be on to a new random pregnancy craving.<\/p>\n
I found the instructions that came with the free sling so I put it on properly and came at Morgan… she gave me such a priceless look of horror that I left her alone until after dinner. Later when she was in a more cuddly mood I got some cuteness.<\/p>\n
